I’ve (finally) settled on my namesake cocktail 🥂 I give you the Bougie Boozy Broad!
I guess I’m feeling nostalgic since my birthday is coming up in 15 days. Galliano was pretty popular back in the 70s and today it popped into my head that I needed a bottle, so I grabbed one. But what to make with it? Plenty of ideas on Pinterest, but nothing was exactly *it*. So I stirred the creative juices in my brain and ended up with this sublime concoction that is a pretty good representation of me 🥰

- 1 oz unpeated Scotch (though I’m sure I’ll try a peated version soon!)
- 1 oz Galliano
- 3ish dashes of Peychauds Bitters (it’s all about balance!)
- Bubbly
- Lemon Twist (for garnish)

- Mix Scotch, Galliano, and Bitters over ice, strain into a Champagne Glass
- Top with Bubbly
- Add garnish

A word of caution as, just like me 😉, this packs a punch between the Scotch (50 ABV) and the Galliano (42.3 ABV) not to mention the 🍾 (11 ABV). The warm sugared vanilla of the Scotch and the herby citrus of the Galliano, with just a tiny bite of the bitters swirled in bubbly makes this a perfectly simple, yet delightfully complex cocktail on a hot summer day. #chinchin my friends! 🥂
